Cud u pl explain why '00 bull mkt & '08 bull mkt ended with the same PE of 28.5 appx+ If that stood, why will the bottom at 10.5 appx not stand?
Last bull mkt's panic bear bottom of sept '01 was never tested again, then why should be the case this time?

My dear friend...let me say something here..How do you know what is the PE? Do you know for sure? Do you believe the news channels? WHY? Do you believe the reporters? WHY? Do you believe the company CEOs? WHY? Do you believe the auditors? WHY? WHY After Satyam? :) WHY?

Okay thats the first point.

Second...
Were you there in 1930? Do you know how it was? What I am trying to say here is that you cannot compare this timeframe with something a few years back...What we are seeing is a once in a lifetime black swan event...For this simple reason, ppl will not believe and will worsen things more than it should have been...

Lets see...My point is past moves do not show or justify future moves..

Best.

Well Sunil you seem to be a hardcore believer of Fundamentals (probably thts why CAs are not the best stock analyst in the market). Well my say is that in stock market analogy dosent works well every time, n if u r tracking market its well written in every piece of material that stock market is not an exact science so take this lines like holy bible and have a broader view of the markets as they are not the same everytime. Both bull n bear runs had different reasons and who said we have bottemed out? Did we????

Shaq, google for amibroker...you can get a trial version and try it out...To buy it will cost you 7000 or so...

Past 3 months? No...I shorted several times and covered...Last time was short at 2833 and missed to cover at 2680...So still holding that piece with hedges thrown in...

Saif said...

thx for the info...looks like the down wave of f8 has started as i write this (nifty at 2790)...2680 supports...then 2500 odd...

Saif said...

I downloaded the trial software of amibroker..but having probs putting nifty on that...can u guide me how to setup nse stocks and nifty on the s/w...
Can we analyse in real time the price behaviour...or shld we upload the data at EOD everytime??

shaq, join the bse-nse2005 yahoo group for data...and desitradermall.com also for data..the yahoo gp u can use for asking questions and also in the files section they will have faqs on how to do this...

i use it for eod data..but if u have a intra feed, u can do that also...u have to create a new database for each market or each timeframe and do this...

hope this helps...its very vast...so try some stuff by yourself...if still not working out, i will help..

thanks.

Hi Lee,

Let me congratulate you once again for starting this wonderful way of TA presentation. I am sure it will benefit many.
As you do more, you should be able to find improvements on that clarity of the picture.
Most of the videos I have seen are generally short in nature. However, if you are covering a larger subject like during a weekend wrap up, the time req may be more.I am no expert in this but as an user, I felt this way.

As long as you post what you feel irrespective of what others say or its end result, you will come out a winner always.

Keep it up.

Best regards.
